Our Office Jointly Initiated the Establishment of Guangxi Intellectual Property Society (GIPS)

On October 11, 2007, GIPS initiated by ALNAN, Guangxi ZhongQilian Intellectual Property Law Firm, Guangxi Min Zu Law Firm and other professionals, was validated by the Guangxi Department of Civil Affairs (GXDCA).

GIPS is a provincial-level academic mass organization voluntarily formed by IP practitioners in accordance with the principles of spontaneity, autonomy and self-discipline. It is also a non-profit and legitimate social organization, accepting guidance and supervision of the Guangxi Association for Science and Technology (GXAST) and GXDCA. The society’s purpose is to unite IP workers, IP owners, relevant enterprises and institutions, abide by the Constitution and relevant policies, stick to social morality, adhere to seeking truth from facts, encourage various opinions, and carry out academic research and exchanges. GIPS pursue promoting the improvement of IP knowledge, brand awareness, and talent cultivation, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of members. Besides, it bends its efforts for assisting enterprises in becoming stronger, enhancing Guangxi comprehensive competitiveness, through strengthening the creation, protection, management and application of brand building of independent IPR. To promote the improvement of scientific and technological innovation ability, and assist Guangxi to made enormous strides economically and culturally.
